A Singaporean based artist, Afiqa A’mran graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a Diploma in Digital Media Design and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at Lasalle College of the Arts. What started as just a hobby at age 14, Afiqa is now looking to explore the depths of her art and the ways it could make an impact not just for herself, but for others too.

Her works focus on blurring the lines between reality and fiction as well as projecting how ironic it is that we are told to be ourselves yet, when we step into the real world we feel forced to present ourselves only in the ways that are acceptable to society’s standards. With the same intention in mind, she wishes to explore the intricacies of social interactions and the intimate moments that can be shared between two souls.

Her works have been displayed in two exhibitions so far, 2021, Fresh Take by Cuturi Gallery and 2021, Chrysalis, Desiring Bodies Exhibition by Lasalle College of the Arts.
