This tableau depicts the transformative interactions between humanity and the natural world in the lands and shores of Southeast Asia. In addition, it highlights the essential role played by the sea and the diverse flora and fauna in shaping life and progress across Asia's expansive archipelago. It incorporates elements from various aesthetic and cultural influences, such as Batik textiles, Malay wood carvings, and found images.
