Fujitori 藤鳥 (Wisteria Bird) builds on an earlier series entitled Hanamida 花涙 ( Flower Tears). This work was created following the deaths of several close family members including my father, this series delves into many uncomfortable spaces of grief, separation, longing and loss. Through the language of flowers, I explore various emotional and physical states that ultimately lead to a space of reflection, acceptance, and peace.
