The bird-of-paradise plants depicted in Fond Paradisiaque echo the mystical poetry of Farid al-Dîn 'Attâr (The Conference of the Birds, 1177).
Between light and darkness, these vegetal forms emerge like living imprints, carried by the breath of time. The material — a subtle interplay of acrylic and charcoal - reveals a dense yet fragile surface, where the trace becomes memory and the color, almost ashen, turns into a quiet prayer.
