Acclaimed French artist-designer Hubert Le Gall unveiled his latest creation, Parade, a stunning bronze work that straddles the line between sculpture and design. Inspired by his visit to Singapore during the opening of his solo show Daydream and an exhibition of Japanese screens, Parade is a poetic dialogue between architectural structure with lyrical imagination.
At first glance, two cranes soar toward one another, their beaks nearly touching in mid-air, a delicate moment of convergence. Around them, bronze spheres drift across the sky like celestial orbs, infusing the scene with quiet motion and mystery.
Step inside, and a gilded, dreamlike world unfolds. The spheres reappear within, continuing their gentle procession through space, transforming Parade into a timeless stage of poetry.
Handcrafted in France, the piece showcases the exceptional skill and meticulous craftsmanship of the country’s master metalworkers.
