Biography
Iris van Herpen is one of the most influential couturiers of our time. Since founding her atelier in 2007, she has interwoven traditional craftsmanship with groundbreaking technology and radical innovation, continually pushing the boundaries of materiality, silhouette, and movement. She seeks a new sensory experience in which nature, art, and science merge into forms that transform the body.

Her creations have been worn by icons such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna, and exist in parallel within the galleries of leading museums worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

Her sculptural works appear both organic and futuristic, exploring the future of the body in our rapidly changing world. Rather than wearability, her work centers on the exploration of new forms, movement, and perception. Moving freely between disciplines, she challenges the boundaries between art and couture, sculpting a new language of fashion that is both visionary and timeless.
