Artist Spotlight | Lionel Sabatté in the 2025 Prix Marcel Duchamp Exhibition

The gallery congratulates our artist Lionel Sabatté on his nomination for the 2025 Prix Marcel Duchamp, one of the most prestigious distinctions in contemporary art. The 2025 Prix Marcel Duchamp Exhibition has now opened at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, where Sabatté’s works are on view now.

The 2025 edition features four nominees, Bianca Bondi, Eva Nielsen, Lionel Sabatté, and Xie Lei, presenting their work on the museum’s collections floor. Curated by Julia Garimorth (Chief Curator and Head of Contemporary Collections, Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris) and Jean-Pierre Criqui (art historian, critic, and curator, Musée National d’Art Moderne – Centre Pompidou), this 25th edition marks the first time the Prize is presented at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris.

The Prix Marcel Duchamp is a comprehensive support program for artists. Since its creation, ADIAF has organized around 50 exhibitions across France showcasing nominated and winning artists, and around 20 abroad with the support of the Institut Français. The winner will be announced on 23 October 2025 during Paris Art Week by an international jury of museum directors, collectors, and artists.

As we await the announcement of this year’s laureate, we celebrate the opening of this momentous exhibition in Paris.
