Artists Darryl Westly and Andrew Ross collaborated in light of Beirut explosion

In light of the August 4th Beirut explosion, New York based visual artists Darryl Westly and Andrew Ross have collaborated on an exhibition entitled 7x, with all sales going directly toward the Beirut Art Residency and its mission to provide aid to artists and communities affected by the disaster. 

 

The exhibition is in collaboration with Basic. Space and is curated to be a testament to the city's persistence, perseverance and ability to reinvent itself in the face of tragedy.

 

Each one-of-a-kind piece was created from layers of printed pastel using Ross' innovative mechanical process paired with Westly's complex and intricate designs. Check out the two artworks below and above, and purchase them here
