Cuturi Gallery opens its inaugural exhibition in Paris: Decadence and Decay, from March 19 to May 16, 2026. The Parisian inauguration of Cuturi Gallery, located at Palais-Royal, 24 Galerie Montpensier, will pay tribute to the gallery’s hybrid and transdisciplinary identity. Conceived as a dialogue between art, design, and fashion, the exhibition affirms the gallery’s hybrid and transdisciplinary identity.
Decadence and Decay brings together eight major artists from the European and Southeast Asian scenes: Jane Lee, Iris van Herpen, Mahalakshmi Kannappan, Hubert le Gall, Sookoon Ang, Lionel Sabatté, Hiromi Tango, and Khairulddin Wahab. It questions the shifting notions of beauty, taste, and renewal, and offers a reflection on the transitions, metamorphoses, and creative powers that emerge when splendor begins to fade. The exhibition also celebrates the memory of the venue with a nod to Didier Ludot, collector and pioneer of secondhand haute couture, whose boutique in the Palais- Royal the gallery has taken over. To open this new chapter, Cuturi Gallery has entrusted its first Paris exhibition to Singapore-based curator Deborah Lim, a central figure within its network and an embodiment of the gallery’s deep connection with Asia.
With this Parisian opening, Cuturi Gallery more than ever asserts its ambition:
to invent a decidedly contemporary, transnational, and sensitive gallery model,
in which art becomes a territory for dialogue, co-creation, and transformation.
